Ampersand Art Rentals Expands Art Rentals and Sales Program to 3D Artists Across Canada

Langley, BC — March 24, 2026 — Ampersand Art Rentals, a new non-profit program run by the Langley Arts Council, is pleased to announce the national expansion of its Art Rentals and Sales (ARS) Program. The program is now inviting 3D artists from across Canada to apply.

The ARS Program is open to emerging, mid-career, and established artists working in all 3D mediums. It connects original artworks with businesses, corporations, and collectors through both an online catalogue and in-person exhibitions. By offering works for rent, the program creates ongoing income opportunities for Canadian artists while increasing public access to original art.

The program aims to present a diverse range of sculptural works—from small to large-scale pieces—providing flexible options for clients interested in renting or purchasing artwork. All works will be available online until rented by clients within the program.

“Following strong interest in the program from artists outside British Columbia, the Arts Council’s staff and Board of Directors have expanded the program to welcome applicants from across Canada,” says Executive Director Claire Sarfeld. “This expansion reflects the evolving scope of the program and our commitment to supporting artists working in diverse 3D practices, including public art and large-scale installations that require specialized skills.”

“Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis throughout 2026, with review periods in March, June, and September,” says ARS & Outreach Coordinator Liyi Weng. “We’re excited to see new work from across the country and to provide expanded opportunities for artists to share their practice with wider audiences.”

Artists must be based in Canada and be 18 years of age or older. All submissions are reviewed through a formal jury process.
