Funding of $2,500 awarded to the Langley Arts Council through the Township of Langley's Community Grant

In February 2021, the Langley Arts Council requested $2,500 from the Township of Langley's Community Grant for the LAC's first Fall Fest and Open House. This funding was requested from the Township to provide funding for the LAC to present its first day-long Fall Fest and Open House at the Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Center.

The Langley Arts Council is pleased to share that this funding was approved in April 2022.

This $2,500 will support the LAC in the presentation of this event, which will include, live music, classes, workshops, an open mic, and a magic show. This event will be free and available for all ages to attend and participate in and will be a day-long celebration of the arts featuring local Langley performers.

"The Langley Arts Council thanks the Township of Langley for its continued support of the arts, culture, and heritage sector, and of the Langley Arts Council. We look forward to hosting the community at our first Fall Fest and Open House, and sharing some of the local talents the Langleys have to offer," states Executive Director; Claire Sarfeld.

The Langley Arts Council's home inside of the Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Center is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10:00 - 4:00 and offers arts programming, exhibition opportunities, free community events, and more!
