Funding of $7,500 awarded to the Langley Arts Council through the Township of Langley's Capital Improvement Grant

In February 2021, the Langley Arts Council requested $7,500 from the Township of Langley's Capital Improvement Grant for the LAC's Theatre and Gallery Lighting Project. This funding was requested from the Township to update the lighting inside of the Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Centre, the home of the Langley Arts Council.

The Langley Arts Council is pleased to share that this funding was approved in April 2022.

This $7,500 will go towards the update of the Main Hall Gallery and Events space located inside the Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Centre. This funding will ensure the purchase of directional track lighting, rigging, and stage lighting for community events, performances, and more.

"The Langley Arts Council thanks the Township of Langley for its continued support of the arts, culture, and heritage sector, and of the Langley Arts Council. We look forward to hosting the community in our new and improved Main Hall Space and invite you to come by to see the updates as they are completed" states Executive Director; Claire Sarfeld.

The Langley Arts Council's home inside of the Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Center is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10:00 - 4:00 and offers arts programming, exhibition opportunities, free community events, and more!
