Funding of $6,000 was awarded to the Langley Arts Council through the BC Government Fairs, Festivals, and Events Fund to support three upcoming Events.

In February 2024, the Langley Arts Council applied to the BC Government Fairs, Festivals, and Events Fund (BCFFE) to support our upcoming BC-Wide Portrait Competition and Live Painting Event, the 2024 iteration of the Outdoor Fine Arts Festival, and our 2025 Celebration of Culture. 

We are pleased to announce that all three of our requests were granted through this program. The Arts Council has received $2,000 to support the BC-Wide Portrait Competition and Live Painting Event, $2,000 for the 2024 iteration of the Outdoor Fine Arts Festival, and $2,000 for the 2025 Celebration of Culture. These funds will go towards general event expenses to ensure the Arts Council can present these three free community events.

The Langley Arts Council's home inside the Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Center is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10:00 - 4:00 and offers arts programming, exhibition opportunities, free community events, and more!
