Donate to the Langley Arts Council's first Art Supply Drive!
April 5, 2023.
The Langley Arts Council launched its first art supply drive on March 22, 2023, with the support of Save on Foods, Aldergrove, and Walnut Grove locations. Managers Cam Bates and Wes Lewis have generously provided their stores as drop-off locations for the community to donate gently used or new art supplies that will benefit local youth arts programming.
"Art presents opportunities for enjoyment and skill development in all ages. Art classes provide a plethora of benefits, including improved health and wellness, and the development of practical skills that can be applied in everyday life. It's not only fun to work with instructors to develop class ideas, but it's rewarding seeing all of the incredible talents in the community!" says Langley Arts Council's Arts Coordinator Mimi Sayvong.
