About the Featured Artist

Rudy Zator graduated from Emily Carr College in 1987 with a focus on sculpture. Soon after, she began a career designing and creating one-of-a-kind sculptural art furniture. Around 2012, she developed a passion for abstract photography, capturing water, reflections, grasses, trees, and lights in the dark. These photographic explorations inspired her to experiment with abstract painting, expanding her artistic practice. Rudy’s work reflects a fascination with form, texture, and the interplay of light and shadow. Across sculpture, photography, and painting, she continues to explore new ways of expressing visual rhythm, emotion, and the essence of natural and abstracted landscapes.
