3D Printing & Modeling


This Class will follow all mandated health protocols as set forth by the BC Ministry of Health.


This course will teach students the fundamentals of 3D printing and its applications in our society. Students will acquire a grasp of the basic 3D printing workflow, become acquainted with 3D printers, and gain the ability to operate them.Students will utilize Shapr3D and Nomad for modeling.


They will learn how to navigate within the apps, edit meshes, employ various modeling and sculpting techniques, and create 3D models. Additionally, students will learn how to slice STL files using Creality to prepare models for printing. By the end of the course, students should be capable of designing and producing their own simple models, which they can then print. It promises to be a highly enjoyable experience!

Please make sure your child wears clothes they are comfortable getting dirty in or bring a smock as we will be working with paints and other art materials. We want to make sure that your child has the best possible experience in our class.
