Langley Ukulele Association – Senior ‘B’ Ensemble
Join us for a joyful performance by the Langley Ukulele Association’s Senior ‘B’ Ensemble, a group of 18 talented youth ages 10 to 14. Under the direction of world-renowned teacher Peter Luongo, these young musicians will open the Outdoor Fine Arts Festival with an uplifting set.

Workshop Ages 14+

Botanical Impressions: A Mixed Media Workshop (Lead by Artist Kaitlyn Beugh)

Participants are invited to create nature-connected art in this one day workshop led by artist Kaitlyn. Using a mix of traditional art supplies and natural elements such as leaves and flowers, attendees will explore the possibilities of mixed media. The session will include elements of drawing and collage, with plenty of room for imagination and creative expression. Supplies provided. To register: click here

Workshop Ages 14+

Drawing with Depth: Techniques in Pen, Pencil & Graphite (Lead by Artist Grace Chen)

Explore the art of drawing with a focus on building layers and creating visual depth using shading and hatching techniques. This class will guide older youth through dry media like ballpoint pen, pencil crayon, or graphite, helping develop detailed, textured artwork and sharpen observational skills. Supplies provided. Nelly P.

Nelson Padilla, known by many as Nelly P. is a seasoned musician based in the Fraser Valley, with over a decade of experience in the local music scene.

His repertoire includes a rich collection of heartfelt original compositions, alongside an extensive range of cover songs that span multiple genres and eras. While his musical influences are diverse, Nelly has a particular affinity for the sounds of the 1990s—an era that is especially well represented in his performances.

Nelly has performed in a wide variety of settings, from intimate backyard gatherings and campfire singalongs to cozy cafés, community fundraisers, and vibrant local bars and breweries.

Armed with a distinctive voice and his trusted guitar, Nelly consistently brings passion and authenticity to every stage. Regardless of the venue or audience, his performances are heartfelt, engaging, and deeply rooted in a genuine love for music.

Join artist Molly Gray for an in-person lino-cut carving demonstration. Learn how to successfully transfer your image from paper to carving block, observe carving techniques and tool preferences, and how to take a quick test proof.


1:15 - 1:45 PM Artist Demonstration

Coastal Orca Watercolour Demo with Elena Markelova

Dive into the world of nature and watch Elena Markelova create a unique Killer Whale in her signature double exposure style. Elena will be showing you how to combine a portrait of the Orca with a mountain seascape of its natural habitat using basic watercolour techniques and some of Elena’s favourite tricks to add more life and movement to the painting.

Bruce Coughlan

Bruce Coughlan is a career performer. A songwriter, recording artist, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, compere, and storyteller par excellence with five decades of experience. Bruce has been welcomed internationally as a touring artist. His eclectic mix of Traditional and original Roots-based songs are honest, timeless & authentic. His storytelling is intriguing, matched by his expressive voice and masterful guitar work.

Watch a demonstration of the three main steps to making glass mosaics: cutting glass, placing the pieces, and tips and tricks for grouting with Jessica Fairweather.

Painting Process and Practice: From Fabric to Figure with Michelle Msami

A behind-the-scenes look at how I develop my figurative paintings, focusing on fabric, light, and body language. Includes a live demo and reflections on recent work.
