Exhibition Dates and Location

Damla Ulukan's solo exhibition Botanic is on display July 4th - August 20th, 2026, in the Township of Langley Civic Building 2nd Floor Gallery (20338 65 Ave, Langley, BC V2Y 3J1). The Civic Facility hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm.

Exhibition Statement

'Botanic' exhibition is inspired by the beauty of nature, reimagined through digital art. By layering different images and using vivid colours, sharp textures, proportions, and detailed patterns, the work highlights the complexity and visual power of natural forms through digital processes.

Each piece begins with simple geometric shapes that evolve into more complex compositions. This reflects how nature works—simple elements coming together to create something intricate and alive. The integration of digital tools in the creation process reexamines traditional representations of nature found in classical art, presenting them in a contemporary way.

The interplay of bold composition and colour creates a strong sense of energy and visual intensity, offering a captivating experience for the viewer.

Botanic proposes a different way of seeing and creating art. It explores how digitalization can transform our perception of nature, inviting viewers to experience it not only as it is, but as it could be.
