Funding of up to $3,237.50 Awarded to the Langley Arts Council through the Township of Langley's Capital Improvement Grant

In February 2023, the Langley Arts Council requested $3,237.50 from the Township of Langley's Capital Improvement Grant to purchase plinths for the LAC's Main Hall Gallery located inside the Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Center, the home of the Langley Arts Council.
The Langley Arts Council is pleased to share that this funding was approved in May 2023.
This $3,327.50 will go towards the materials and cost to build custom plinths for the Main Hall Gallery and Events space located inside the Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Centre.
"These plinths will support the Arts Council in displaying a larger array of artists through our Art in Found Spaces Program and will support the exhibition of more well-rounded exhibitions," states Executive Director; Claire Sarfeld.
The Langley Arts Council's home inside of the Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Center is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10:00 - 4:00 and offers arts programming, exhibition opportunities, free community events, and more!
