Announcing the first Fine Arts Weekend in Langley City!

The Langley Arts Council and the West Fine Art Show Society are pleased to announce their first collaborative edition of Fine Arts Weekend in Langley City on the August 11-13 weekend.

The Fine Arts Weekend in Langley City is a proud collaboration and presentation made by two outstanding organizations, the Langely Arts Council and the West Fine Art Show Society, each of whom will present separate art shows over the weekend. Here is the weekend program:

On Friday and Saturday, August 11-12, the West Fine Art Show - Summer Edition will feature 25 exceptional artists in the fabulous Cascades Ballroom at the Coast Langley City Hotel and Convention Centre, located at 20393 Fraser Highway, Langley, BC, V3A7N2. Parking and admission are free. The amazing John Gilliat will be performing on guitar. A portion of all art sales at this show will be donated to the Langley Hospice Society.

Show open hours are:
Friday: Noon - 9:00 PM
Saturday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM

On Sunday, August 13th, the Langley Arts Council will present its day-long Outdoor Fine Arts Fair featuring 14 artists at Douglas Park located on the corner of Douglas Crescent and 206th. St.

Show open hours are:
11:00 AM - 5:00 PM

"This a wonderful new collaboration between the two arts organizations to present Fine Arts Weekend in Langley City, a weekend that will feature a combined 38 artists that span across mediums, subject matter, and style. The artists and our organizations are keen to present an array of new artworks to the community. So be sure to save the date for this art-filled weekend!" says Claire Sarfeld, Executive Director of the Langley Arts Council a Charitable organization serving the residents of Langley since 1968.
