Painting: My Masterpiece | Ages 13 - 16
This Class will follow all mandated health protocols as set forth by the BC Ministry of Health.
Unlock the world of creativity and color in our "Painting: My Masterpiece" class designed for young artists aged 13-16. Over four inspiring days, students will embark on a journey to discover the joy of painting while mastering fundamental techniques to bring their artistic visions to life.

Dates:
June 18
Day 1 - Basics
We will learn different art mediums and create a brush map with acrylic paint.
Learn which brush creates trees, fine details and flowers as our examples and then move on to experimenting with texture.
June 19
Day 2 - Start Project
Discuss colour theory, complete rough drafts and have them approved.
Choose a canvas that best enhances your ideas. Map out canvas and start your projects!
June 20
Day 3 - Studio Day
Work day for your project, ask lots of questions!
June 21
Day 4 - Studio Day
Final work day for your project

Wear clothes that you feel at ease getting a bit messy in or bring a smock. If you have a sketchbook with ideas you'd like to bring and execute, please feel free to do so!
